Project Spotlight: Backyard Dream
This backyard dream brings our slogan “Outdoor Lifestyles Reimagined” to life. Due to a rare autoimmune disease, a member of this client’s family is unable to regulate their body temperature and does not produce perspiration. This makes it hard to travel and enjoy the natural world around us, so we brought the vacation to them! It was important to incorporate a temperature-controlled pool that could both heat up and cool down, so we installed a special heat-pump to accommodate the family’s needs.
Tracy Cox designed this beautiful outdoor oasis. What began as just a small deck with a large, blank backyard quickly turned into a stunning area with a pool, two composite decks, a hardscape paver patio, and a show-stopping pergola. For so many reasons, this project is close to our hearts here at Property Pros, and we feel truly blessed that this family looked to us to help them create this space.
Biggest Challenge:
“The plan originally had a step down to the poolside composite deck, but during the installation of the pool, our subcontractor accidentally set it at the wrong elevation. Ultimately, it delayed the project for 3 weeks and we had to completely redesign that area.”
