This idyllic outdoor oasis in Carmel came together thanks to a landscape design plan from Executive Director Jeff Mull and the hard work of our amazing crew members. Complete with a pool, a fire pit, room for outdoor dining and lounging, and plenty of beautiful landscaping, this patio space checks all the boxes for fun days poolside with friends and family. 

Jeff’s favorite part of this project was the unique hardscape layout. His plan created dimension with the varied elevations while providing balance in the offset patio spaces. The expansive paver patio provides plenty of seating areas for the homeowners to relax and enjoy their peaceful outdoor space alongside their best friend Penny, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. 

The plans for this project also strategically hide the pool equipment with a custom privacy panel. Between this and carefully planned landscape beds, the firepit area remains a peaceful spot even with the functional pool equipment nearby but kept out of sight. Even with the addition of all of these amazing outdoor entertaining features, these clients still have plenty of space to enjoy their lush green turf. It truly is an idyllic oasis right in their backyard!

Worthwhile Challenge:

This project came together during a heavy rain season which can often cause delays and make the project site a bit of a muddy mess. Despite the wet conditions, our crews persisted and were able to bring these plans to life.
