Fortville, IN, March 1 – Property Pros Land Management, LLC’s Executive Director and Managing Partner, Jeff Mull, acquired his certification to become an Indiana Accredited Horticulturist through the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association (INLA). 

The INLA have developed the Indiana Accredited Horticulturist Program to provide a method of self-study and accreditation for individuals in the green industry. The goal of this certification and accreditation program is to develop knowledgeable, motivated, professional employees for the landscape industry.

This certification mainly focuses on planting, soil types, chemistry, design, and aesthetics. We’ll be able to guide our clients through the process of picking plants that work well together, provide education on the impact each unique plant has on the environment, and even know how the selected plants will potentially change the chemical makeup of the surrounding air. 

We emphasize the importance of how a space feels and impacts mood, especially since each client has a different vision in mind. It’s vital to know how to soften a very hard space and how to add warmth to a cold space. Landscaping will specifically alter the experience of every space. So while a gravel walkway may not feel very inviting, when it’s transitioned to a beautifully designed space with landscape accents, it subconsciously makes people want to stay in the space and utilize it more.
