April 1: 10-0-3 .28 prodiamine 4 lbs/1000
This round has a light nitrogen application that has a controlled release, making sure we do not get extreme shoot growth for the grass and it helps avoid leeching. There is potash in the product to help establish deep healthy roots. The prodiamine is a preemergent weed control to help keep those pesky spring weeds from germinating.
May 15: 18-0-5 . 125 Dimension 4 lbs/1000
This round has a little more nitrogen to help for that summer feeding while applying another round of preemergent weed control. The potash will also help with the root establishment for healthier turf. We also will be spraying any weeds that have happened to germinate. We also are applying Armament Concentrate increases nutrient uptake and ensures nutrient uptake.
July 4: 18-0-4 imidacloprid-lambda cyhalothrin 4 lbs/1000
This fertilizer round includes a treatment for grubs and other root-feeding insects. The nitrogen is a controlled release of nitrogen to help avoid leeching from the soil.
August 15th: 22-3-11 50% slow release 3.4 lbs/1000
This fertilizer is a 50% slow-release, with a “stronger” application of nitrogen to get ready for the fall. We added prosperous for stronger root growth and to enhance plant energy action.
October 1st: 30-0-4 30% slow release 3.4 lbs/1000
This application includes another application of Armament Concentrate along with another round of weed spray control. This is another round with an increase of nitrogen, as it is the most important nutrient in the fall. The grass uses the nitrogen to help prepare and store food for the winter. This application is a 30% slow release.
November 15th: 34-0-4 all mineral 3 lbs/1000
The last round is an all mineral higher nitrogen content for the last and most important feeding for the grass for the season. This will help prepare the grass for the winter, along with a healthy start to the spring season by establishing a thick healthy turf to help keep weeds out of the turf.
