In addition to our primary services, we offer annual maintenance plans that fit any lifestyle and property, so that your time can be spent enjoying the outdoor space.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Services

Turf Application

You will receive six fertilization treatments, five of which are organic. The first round of fertilization will include a pre-emergent to prevent weeds, including crabgrass, from germinating your lawn. All other treatments, excluding the last, will include broad leaf treatment to eliminate weeds such as dandelions from your lawn. The last treatment will be a grub control that will eliminate all grub that feed off the roots of your grass. This will allow your lawn to stay healthy and lush.

Mowing

This service includes weekly mowing of the property, as well as string trimming of all existing bed edges and hard surfaces including walks, fences, patio and driveways. All hard surfaces will also have all loose grass clippings blown off.

Spring Clean Up

For spring clean up, we offer a wide array of services that include: elimination of any excess leaves and limbs, as well as trim and remove both grass and perennials.

Summer Prune/Shear/Trim

With this service we will trim any shrubs that are not in full bloom. The shrubs commonly trimmed during this season include, but are not limited to: boxwoods, privets, yews, lilacs, viburnums and burning bushes.

Fall Prune/Shear/Trim

This round of services will include trimming of all shrubs that were not trimmed during the summer shrub trimming. It will also include a light trimming of shrubs that were trimmed in the summer, if we deem necessary. The shrubs commonly trimmed during this season include, but are not limited to: roses, roses of Sharon, hydrangeas and spireas.

Bed Pre-Emergent Application

We will apply a granular pre-emergent to all of your beds. This should be reapplied approximately every six weeks.

Bed Care Maintenance

The bed care service includes dead-heading shrubs and perennials, as well as pulling and spraying weeds, suckers or tree saplings. We will also clean up loose limbs, debris and other trash that we see. Ultimately, this service will keep your property looking sharp.

Mulch

We will be installing color-enhanced brown or black mulch in all of your previously mulched bed areas. We will also install a commercial grade pre-emergent under the fresh layer of mulch to help prevent weeds from germinating.

Fall Clean Up

For fall clean up, we clean all of the landscape beds on the property that includes excess leaves, small limbs and other debris. In addition, all grasses and perennials will be cut down and removed.

Hand Watering

We will water annual flower beds and any other area or plants that are requested by the customer. This service can also be used to top off swimming pools, ponds, waterfalls and fountains.

Gutter Cleaning

With this service, both your gutters and roof will be cleared and blown off.

Leaf Removal

This service will sweep and clean your yard of fallen leaves on a number of occasions. On the last sweep, greater detail will be taken to provide the best sweep. Pictures will also be taken to document leaf removal for reference.

Spring Color

Spring annual flowers will be installed with organic plant fertilizer.

Summer Color

Summer annual flowers installed with organic plant fertilizer.

Fall Color

Fall annual flowers installed with organic plant fertilizer.

Winter Pots

We will decorate all of your flower pots with winter greenery with red and gold accent colors.

Hard Surface Edging

With this service, we will machine edge all concrete edges that border all hard surfaces on the property including private walks, community walks, driveways and patios.

Dormant Shrub Trimming

Dormant trimming’s purpose is to reduce the size of the shrubs that have become overgrown and need an aggressive reduction in size. We would trim these shrubs in the winter, when they are in dormant stage, to ensure that we are not causing stress to the plant.

Irrigation Start-Up

We will start up your irrigation system and perform a back-flow test to ensure the irrigation system does not have any leaks.

Irrigation Shut Down

We will shut down your system and blow out all of your lines.

Turf Core Aeration

All turf areas will be aerated to have sod plugs pulled.

Turf Core Aeration with Over Seed

In this service, all lawn areas will have a double pass of aeration. All turf areas will also be overseeded with grass seed and have an organic starter fertilizer treatment applied.

Bed Plant Fertilizer

This service will encourage stronger and deeper root growth for all of your beds, as we will apply an organic granular fertilizer to all bed spaces.

Do I need maintenance services right when my project is completed?
While it’s most beneficial to have your landscape maintenance after your landscaping project, it is not required. However, our lifetime warranty for our plants is only available to maintenance clients that choose to start a service upon completion of the contracted project. This is over and above our standard One Year Warranty on all trees and shrubs.
